The Last Talk on Software Testing

The Days of Future Present Past

With past as the evidence, testing future is going to be a bittersweet one. Are you ready?

What is a talk? What does a speaker do? What does the audience expect of a talk? In uncountable conferences, I have often pondered over these questions. One answer I have often got from this introspection is that the least a speaker should do is to intrigue the audience. There are many hard questions which testing as a profession faces today. The questions range from why we got where we got today to more existential questions about testing as a specialisation.

In this talk, I will give my perspective about these questions, under the assumption that the questions are more important than my answers alone.
