Exploratory Testing in a Nutshell. Hands on!

In fast paced world, with limited time to market and continuous run to outsmart competitors, we don’t want to have compromises on software quality. When old approaches do not work anymore, it is time to look for … older ones. Exploratory testing is known for 35 years, but many, even experienced testers, are not familiar with this testing technique in practice.

Hi there! My name is Kristine and I work as software quality trainer and coach. Every other week I explain basics in software testing to young professionals and career changers. One of those basics is exploratory testing. I take my job as a trainer very seriously. I constantly work to improve didactics and methods of my trainings. Every training and every group is different, sometimes I have only 5 to 15 minutes on each of topic and it is important for me to explain it hands-on. Do you think it is not possible? I love challenges! Join my talk where I will guide you through my teaching tactics, present four steps of exploratory testing and of course I will explain exploratory testing in 10 minutes.
